NFL Playoffs Opinon

So, what have we learned from the Wild Card Playoff games that took place this past weekend??? Its safe to say that Baltimore came ready with Super Bowl in mind. Their offense shined so bright against New England and their defense punched Tom Brady & Company right in the mouths! As a Saints fan, I'm hoping the Ravens are silenced early & don't go too far because their intensity right now is unmatched. With Ray Lewis pumped & ready to destroy, Rice running like he running for his life they are capable of dismantling even the best of teams, quite possibly the Colts who they face this coming weekend...

Dallas defeating the Eagles was surprising but even more surprising was how Philly played with no effort. The only person who did what they were supposed to do was Michael Vick. Vick's first appearance on the field & first pass was converted for a Touchdown. Philly's offensive line was absent, guess they didn't get the memo that there was a game to be played and a Quarterback to protect. Receivers were quiet, mainly Twitter trash tallking DeSean Jackson, I guess it was Dallas who stung your asses instead huh??? Westbrook barely played, McCoy tried his best but to no avail. Tony Romo & Company were successful in breaking their December curse...I guess congrats are in order??? Nah, not yet. They get props AFTER they play the hungry Vikings led by Brett Favre.

Arizona & Green Bay put up a lot of points and thanks to Arizona's shifty kicker Rakers the game was forced into overtime. It was very obvious that Arizona got comfortable and lax after they gained a substantial lead over Green Bay early int he first half. Green Bay then capitalized on this and scored & then off a "nothing to lose" onside kick they recovered & went on from there to not only score but continued to gain on Arizona and tie the game. For a moment it was back and forth touchdowns. Each team saying anything you can do I can do better & faster. Nevertheless, shortly after entering overtime, GB had 1st possession, Rodgers took a nasty hit on what I believe was 2nd or 3rd down...ball pops out and lands conveniently in the hands of one of Arizona's defensive player Karlos Dansby, who then returned it for a touchdown. Barn burner...maybe...Cardinals now come to New Orleans for a down south beatdown...

Cincinnati and New York was possibly the most disappointing game in the fact that it seemed Cincy didn't even show up to play. Carson Palmer was passing the ball so high you would think his receivers were 7'5 instead of 6'3, 6'5...almost getting his players injured as they stretched to attempt to catch the ball. The run game was very present as Cedric Benson ran like a work horse however, it wasn't enough against the Jets' defense. Chad Ochocinco was silenced (on his 32nd birthday nonetheless) by foe Revis who proved he is the man for his position. Cincinnati's defense was even able to make Mark Sanchez look like an NFL Quarterback HAHA, which is sometimes impossible. The game got out of hand early...therefore I will spend no more time on it here either...Jets now head to San Diego where I believe they will be dismantled from start to finish...
